This workshop is a gentle introduction to a new way of being with dark emotions. It is an invitation to engage with dark or difficult emotions – be they fear, anger, anxiety, sadness, despair, shame – and learn to become emotionally literate and discover their purpose, which Miriam Greenspan believes is to teach us about ourselves, others, and the world.

…you don’t know how to cope with difficult emotions – including sadness, anger, shame, anxiety, fear.
…no matter what you’ve tried – you can’t out-run or out-numb dark or difficult emotions.
…your strategies are proving to be not good for you or anyone around you.
… you’re ready to try a different strategy – waving the peace flag and befriending your difficult emotions if that’s what it takes – but don’t know where to start.
